Six students received Russell Sage College's Opalka Family Scholarship, awarded to graduates of Averill Park High School who will study education or art at Russell Sage.

Five Russell Sage College students pursued research related to their nutrition and nursing degrees during Sage's CSTEP summer research program. On July 3, the students presented their work at the college's annual CSTEP Summer Research Symposium, held on Sage's Troy campus. CSTEP - an acronym for Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program - is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education. Participating students are pursuing professional licensure or careers in mathematics, science, technology and health-related fields.

Phi Kappa Phi recently announced the recipients of a 2024 Fellowship. The prestigious $8,500 fellowships were awarded to 54 students nationwide.

The Russell Sage College chapter of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society welcomed 16 students at an induction ceremony on May 3, 2024. Sigma Beta Delta recognizes students who have attained superior records in business programs at schools and colleges with regional accreditation.

The event honored the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2024, plus 62 students from all of Sage's undergraduate majors and programs.

The Russell Sage College chapter of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society welcomed 23 new members at the college's annual induction ceremony which took place on April 14, 2024. Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective honor society for all academic disciplines.
