The Russell Sage College chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in Psychology, welcomed 24 students at the college's annual induction ceremony, which took place on April 6, 2025.

The 2025 issue of The Rev, Russell Sage College's student-run art and literary magazine, is a beautifully bound, 120-page publication featuring writing and art from Russell Sage students, alumni, and employees; Questar III New Visions visual and performing arts students; and CreativityUnleashed Publishing in London. Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Five Russell Sage College students pursued research related to their nutrition and nursing degrees during Sage's CSTEP summer research program. On July 3, the students presented their work at the college's annual CSTEP Summer Research Symposium, held on Sage's Troy campus. CSTEP - an acronym for Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program - is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education. Participating students are pursuing professional licensure or careers in mathematics, science, technology and health-related fields.

Six students received Russell Sage College's Opalka Family Scholarship, awarded to graduates of Averill Park High School who will study education or art at Russell Sage.

Russell Sage College celebrated outstanding student academic achievements for the 2023-2024 academic year at its Undergraduate Honors Convocation on April 24, 2024. The event honored the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2024, plus 62 students from all of Sage's undergraduate majors and programs.

This fall, luxury home appliance brand Thermador and the Interior Design Society named My Grumbling as one of five recipients of their 2023-2024 Diversity in Design Pipeline Scholarship and professional development program. Grumbling is an Interior + Spatial Design major in Russell Sage College's Class of 2024. She is the only Diversity in Design winner from an interior design program at a small, private college; the other students represent public research institutions many times the size of Sage.
