Four Russell Sage College students pursued research related to their biology, nursing, and public health degrees during Sage's CSTEP summer research program. On July 11, the students presented their work at the college's annual CSTEP Summer Research Symposium, held on Sage's Troy campus. CSTEP - an acronym for Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program - is a grant-funded program sponsored by the New York State Department of Education. Participating students are pursuing professional licensure or careers in mathematics, science, technology, and health-related fields.

Seven Russell Sage College students shared their research at the New York State Association for Foreign Language Teachers annual conference held in Albany, October 17-18, 2025.

The 2025 issue of The Rev, Russell Sage College's student-run art and literary magazine, is a beautifully bound, 120-page publication featuring writing and art from Russell Sage students, alumni, and employees; Questar III New Visions visual and performing arts students; and CreativityUnleashed Publishing in London. The Russell Sage College chapter of Psi Chi, the international honor society in Psychology, welcomed 24 students at the college's annual induction ceremony, which took place on April 6, 2025.

The Russell Sage College chapter of the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society welcomed 16 students at an induction ceremony on May 3, 2024. Sigma Beta Delta recognizes students who have attained superior records in business programs at schools and colleges with regional accreditation.

Russell Sage College celebrated outstanding student academic achievements for the 2023-2024 academic year at its Undergraduate Honors Convocation on April 24, 2024. The event honored the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Class of 2024, plus 62 students from all of Sage's undergraduate majors and programs.

Works by senior art students at Russell Sage College are highlighted in the 20th Annual BFA Exhibition at Opalka Gallery. The exhibition runs Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, May 31, 2024.

This fall, luxury home appliance brand Thermador and the Interior Design Society named My Grumbling as one of five recipients of their 2023-2024 Diversity in Design Pipeline Scholarship and professional development program. Grumbling is an Interior + Spatial Design major in Russell Sage College's Class of 2024. She is the only Diversity in Design winner from an interior design program at a small, private college; the other students represent public research institutions many times the size of Sage.

Nineteen students in Russell Sage College's Doctor of Physical Therapy program presented research at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting held in Boston, February 15-17, 2024.
